Q: Can you use synthetic oil if you are currently using conventional motor oil?
A: Yes. In older vehicles (12+ years old), certain cars may develop leak when switched to a synthetic motor oil. However, with the wide spread usage of synthetic oil in today’s market, synthetic oils as well as engine components are compatible with both synthetic and conventional motor oil. You can switch back and forth and even blend them without causing and damages.
Q: How is ENEOS different from all the other brands? What is the advantage of ENEOS 5W-30 and 0W-50?
A: With more than 120 years of experience in the oil industry, Nippon Oil, the manufacturer of ENEOS products are amongst the top oil companies in the world. With the collaboration it has with numerous major Japanese car companies, Nippon Oil has the know-how and experience to formulate top quality motor oil for both Japanese and other vehicles alike.
ENEOS products are formulated for individuals that care about their motor vehicles:
ENEOS products does not generalize consumers as a whole, but instead targets the specific need for individual driver. ENEOS 5W-30 is formulated for individuals that are looking for to reduce fuel consumption and C02 emissions as well as achieving higher fuel efficiency. The quality 5W-30 offers make this an exceptional eco-friendly product.
When high-output cars with large engine displacements are driven for long periods at high temperatures and heavy loads, they demand the outstanding heat resistance and oxidation stability that only fully synthetic motor oils can provide. ENEOS motor oil is made from 100% synthetic oil, it has an ultra-wide 0W-50 viscosity range that ensures superb starting performance even at the coldest winter temperatures as well as excellent oil film retention in the hottest summer conditions.
Outstanding High-Temperature Oxidation:
Made from a carefully engineered blend of 100% synthetic base oils and optimized additives, ENEOS 0W-50 provides high-temperature oxidation stability vastly superior to motor oils made from mineral base oils. ENEOS 0W-50 also has outstanding coking resistance, an essential property for protecting turbo rotors operated at high temperatures and speeds.
Q:How do I know which product variation to use in my car?
A: Reference your vehicle’s owners manual for the recommended motor oil and select the matching viscosity grade from the ENEOS product line. Even if you do not find a corresponding ENEOS product to your recommended viscosity grade, you can still contact your local dealer or us directly for a recommendation best suited for your vehicle and usage.
Q: How often should I change my ENEOS oil?
A: Oil change intervals will depend on your driving habit and type of vehicle. If you do a lot of “hard” driving, city driving or low speed/low frequency driving, we recommend oil changes at 3000 miles interval. ENEOS motor oil can last a minimum of 10,000 miles, but due to engine containments and byproducts, we recommend a more frequent change interval for the optimal protection. Vehicles that are driven more lightly, or see majority of highway driving can go to intervals of 15,000 miles plus. We still do suggest a routine check up of the condition of the oil every 3000 to 5000 miles or so to ensure optimal protection.
Q: Is a special oil filter required to use ENEOS Oils?
A: No, a special oil filter is not required. Simple use the factory recommended filter or a reputable after market brand.
Q: Should I flush my engine or driveline before using ENEOS Fully synthetic lubricants?
A: An engine or driveline flush is not necessary to change to ENEOS motor oil. ENEOS products are compatible will all other synthetic or petroleum motor oil, therefore flushing is not required.
Q: Why is ENEOS bottle so special?
A: ENEOS bottles are manufactured using a patented method. It is a double layer construction that protects its contents from contaminates, stiff exterior for ultimate ergonomics, and special bottle shape to eliminate spilling. Also the indention on the bottle prevents labels from rubbing off against each other or other products.

Redline: 10W30 [ per quart ]
10W30 - Reduces turbo lag and provides more power and economy in a properly functioning engine, while providing thicker bearing oil films than a petroleum 10W40. |
|
|
Redline: 20W50 [ per quart ]
20W50 - Reduces the amount of temperature related oil thinning and provides more safety margin in a track car while providing thicker bearing oil films at higher oil temps than 10W30..... and trust me, at the track, your oil temps are higher than you think they are; even keN Sax's. |

Redline: MT90 [ per quart ]
The viscosity characteristics of MTL & MT90 allow proper shifting over the entire temperature range which the transmission will experience. The synthetic base oils used have a very high viscosity index which provides relatively constant viscosity as temperature changes. MTL is a low 75W, almost a 70W, at low temperatures and an 80W, nearly 85W, at elevated temperatures, providing adequate viscosity to prevent wear and deaden gear noise. MT90 is a thicker 75W90 version of MTL. The shear stability and oxidation stability of these products are excellent, thus the physical characteristics of Red Line MTL and MT90 will change little with use. |
