Why Odyssey? Check these Info and Specs
Yes it is that small. The "web guys" said all they had to say about digital manipulation to the congressional committee. "It's really that small, Just leave it at that. REALLY!"
Before charging your Odyssey batteries please go to [ this page ] if you don't, it may blow up.
Now that you know - blow some dough [ here ] on a hi-tech charging system
You might need a BATTERY MOUNT to go with that super crank, lightweight battery.
All batteries supplied with nice brass auto battery terminals at no extra
charge.
Now that you know everything you need to know about the Odyssey 680MJT battery why don’t you just buy one and experience the Dali Difference today!
Please note that while the Odyssey 680MJT battery install is shown in the pictorial below in the original v1.0 Dali battery mounting bracket, ALL the Dali battery mounting brackets install the same way in the same area on the car.
Step 1: What you need
1/8 & 5/32 Allen, 10mm socket, 1/4 Drill, and of course the battery and mount

Step 2:
Admire your front compartment, now start taking the sh%@ out.

Step 3:
Spare tire removed, now take out the spare tire bracket.

Step 4:
This is a close-up of the bracket you need to take out to get to the OEM battery.
So why are we still looking at it?

Step 5:
Heavy temple of doom old battery revealed, don't look right at it.

Step 6:
Take out the old battery using a 10mm deep socket.

Step 7:
Undo the battery cables.

Step 8:
Clean off the battery cable connectors.

Step 9:
Position new mount and mark holes you are going to drill.

Step 10:
Drill Away!

Note: When using stainless steel nuts and bolts especially when they are larger in size always remember to lubricate with an antiseize compound (like Teff Gel). This will prevent the nut from binding on the thread (known as galling or cold-welding).
If you don't know this then this may happen to you.
So now I put some goo on all the stainless steel bolts for those of you without a can of anti-seize in your garage.
Step 11:
OK, this is the really fun part. You will need to be either very
flexible or have the car up on a lift or jack stands in order to tighten
the SS allen bolts, washers and lock nuts provided. The problem is that
you can reach all the heads of the bolts but not all the nuts - we got
this far and then ended up jacking up the car and stuck a second person
under there to tighten the lock nuts while person #1 held the allen heads
from turning.
Step 12:
Mounted battery installed
Step 13:
Admire your handi-work.

OEM Battery + Battery Box + Brackets = 34lbs
Odyssey 680 + Mount = 14lbs

Q: Can you tell me if the Odyssey 680 battery has enough power to handle the loads of a streetable NSX? or is 925 the preferred even with the weight penalty?
A: The 680 works fine IF you drive the car 3-4 days a week and if the last drive of the day is longer than 20 minutes to make sure the battery has time to recharge. What the smaller batteries can do is start the car 5 times in a row, they cannot support a drain like the alarm system for long periods of time w/out a charger/tender installed. The 925 has a much longer "sit time" than the smaller ones do. Typically the 545 & 680 go in track cars with a cutoff switch or the 680 can be used in daily drivers that actually drive. In between cars that are weekenders need the tender or the 925.
Odyssey vs Optima:
Another battery option that weighs more are the Optima batteries, both the D34 and D35 work fine, they will just give you a hernia installing them. We have billet battery mounts for them as well.
